My name is Annie Lee. I will be graduating from William Henry Harrison High School in 2017. I plan to attend college in the fall of 2017. I have been swimming since I was 6 years old. I began swimming in swim lessons at the Lafayette Family YMCA. At the age of 6, I joined the swim team there. At first, I would get disqualified at least once every meet. I remember, the first time I went a whole meet with out getting disqualified was at our club conference meet at West Lafayette High School. When I was 8, I joined Boilermaker Aquatics. I am now 17 and I have been swimming on that team since 2006. I went to Varsity Sectionals the past three years in Zionsville. I placed 7th in the 200 free at prelims. I placed 6th at Finals in 200 freestyle as a freshman. Sophomore year at sectionals, I came out of prelims in 3rd place. I swam the 500 freestyle and came out at 7th place. This past season as a Junior, I came in 5th place in both the 200 free and 500 free. I hope to improve even more over the summer season. I have a goal to swim at a Division school. I would not prefer to walk-on due to financial reasons, but a scholarship is my main goal. I would like to attend a school to study Sales and Marketing. I excel in math and science. My main qualities are my work ethic, my self-motivation and drive, and the way I present myself as a Harrison Raider.
