I have been playing golf since I was 4 years old and started competitive play at eight. Even at that age I knew that I loved the game and wanted to achieve more with my talent. Though several other coaches encouraged me to continue with Lacrosse and Volleyball, I chose golf.
As a golfer today, I have great touch around the green, can get up and down and I average a 250 yard driving distance with great precision. Being a left handed person playing right handed, I can generate a high club head speed. I am also able to stay focused and composed through every round and I am able to get along well with teammates and coaches. The high school team of which I was on, is the Class 6A State Champions for the state of Oregon; so I know what it takes to be the best me and to help make the best team. Even with a busy golf season, I am still able to maintain a high GPA in the classroom and still give back to my community.
I wish to attend a school that will challenge my golf game and my academic skills. My goal would be to help my team grow and mature into a better group of golfers and people.
