Something that has made me who I am today would most definitely be my dads love for sports. Throughout my childhood, I've played softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and golf.
I first picked up a golf club in 1st grade when my dad brought home an old kids set that a friend gave to him. At the time, my dad wasn't much of a golfer, he mostly played softball. He took me to our local driving range and the stance and swing came naturally to me.
That summer, I started up in the First Tee program. It taught me great life skills that I still think about all the time. Some of these lessons are patience, being polite, having respect for others, and being responsible. Being a part of my high school team has taught me a lot as well. It has showed me what it takes to be part of a strong team. A team is always there for you when you get into a tough situation, and they're always there to encourage you to do better.
My academic goals for high school would be to graduate with a 3.2 or better. I use a tutor, mostly for chemistry, to help get my grades up. So far, the progress has been great. My goals for college is to find as many opportunities as I can and get my Bachelor's Degree in 3D Graphics because I would like to pursue a career as a 3D Game Artist.
