I am fairly new to golf. Just started in the summer of 2015. I played one varsity match in high school that season. The following season, I played in all varsity matches but one and was in the 5th/6th spot on my team of 13. I played 9 hole junior PGA in 2016 to gain experience. I am currently playing 18 hole junior PGA. My normal 9 hole score is between a 41-45 from the women's tees. My average 18 hole score of 110 is from the few junior PGA tournaments I have just competed in and are from longer yardages.
I take coaching very well and I am great at not letting the game get to my head. I have the ability to shake off a bad hole and move on to the next. I am a very strong putter with normally one to two putts per hole. My weakness is my yardage in driving which I intend to continue to work on with my coach and by doing Tathata golf. My goal for myself is to be hitting in the 90's by the end of summer.
I would love to continue playing golf in college and look forward to seeing how I can continue to improve my game.
