Sara Reese '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sara Reese, I am 17 and will am a Senior at Traverse City West Senior High School this fall. I am a hardworking student with the desire to play golf. My dream is to be able to play golf in college. I have just completed  my second year of playing golf and have already dropped my strokes 46 from last year. I started playing in August of 2009. I will continue to play in an elite program this summer, and I have hired a private coach as well.  I have joined a local weekly league and am playing in all of the local competitions.  I will also compete in some of the FCWT this winter after my senior season. I continue to get more consistent everyday. I'm very dedicated to this sport and I work hard. Even though I've only been playing a year, I was third place our conference! 

I love to travel, and my family travels constantly on business throughout the US.  My moms family is also spread throughout the country, so I will have family close almost anywhere I go. 

I also have run five half marathons with my mom including the San Francisco Womens half where we raised over $12000 for Cancer Research! I have also continued to be on the honor roll since the seventh grade.  I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel to Spain, France, and Italy with a Student Ambassador program and love traveling all over the country with my parents.
