April 2015 IIPersonal Statement
Hello, my name is Haley Larsen. I am in my Senior year at Hartland High School in Hartland Michigan, I have played golf with my family since I was very little. I became serious about golf and began to work with an instructor in 8th grade. This is my 4th year on the Varsity Golf Team, currently playing in the number one position. During my Sophomore and Junior years I was named All Conference Scholastic Athlete and All County Athlete. Last Summer I shot a personal best 79 twice on the Livingston Junior Tour. I also qualified as an individual last season for the MHSAA Div. 1 State Finals where I finished tied for 8th place in the Individuals. For the last three years I have worked with my current swing coach bi-weekly to take my game to the next level. I am very motivated to play college golf and get the best education possible. I have a determined work ethic to maintain my 3.6 GPA while continuing to improve my golf game.
