Claire Boyle '12 Recruiting Profile

Attributes that will make me a good college student-athlete golfer: hard working, manages time, good positive attitude. I enjoy practicing, playing and learning new shots that work to my advantage. I will be a good college teammate because I am supportive and encouraging. I enjoy being on the golf course and team camaraderie. I am looking for a university and golf program that will have the academics I am interested in studying, hedging toward the field of law, and a golf team that will help me to reach my fullest potential as a golfer and be surrounded by a group of peers who work together to make each the best person/golfer they can become. My college goals are to enjoy the experience of playing at a collegiate level, and to succeed in academics as well. I am looking for a coach that is able to improve my weaknesses in order for me to be able to play to my full potential. The strengths of my golf game are: Irons, distance and wedge shots The weaknesses of my golf game are: Putting and limited experience (planning to play more tournaments this coming season to improve my decision making and course management skills) I think my golf game will continue to improve because I am very dedicated to the sport and spend hours practicing, even in the off season. I have a strong desire to work hard and reach my goal of making it to collegiate golf. My intention this next summer is to play in AJGA and other Michigan tournaments to gain more experience and play amongst some incredibly strong golfers.
