Personal Statement
I was born in the Middle East and I have French and African origins. At the age of 17, I have already had the opportunity to live in 5 different countries: Syria, Venezuela, USA, New Zealand and Brunei. I started playing golf at the age of 5. I played in the US Kids and the Little Linksters from the ages 6-9, in Houston Texas! This is when I developed my passion for the sport and for competing; I have since continuously improved my game from year to year.
As I moved around the world, I had the pleasure to experience playing on outstanding golf courses, from Torrey Pines, to The Commonwealth Golf Club in Australia, to Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand. This cemented my love for the game. I think that moving around has also really helped me open my eyes to the world around me, learning about different cultures and also adapting to new environments. I have also developed and maintained a lot of friendships over the years, and on four continents. I love meeting new people and I value the bond that comes from strong relationships and, when I can, giving support to others.
Over the next few years, I would like to dedicate more time to golf such that I can reach my full potential in this area, while also preparing for a career in Art, Design or Architecture.
