Personal Statement

My number one goal is to become a successful adult someday. In order to do that, I want to go to a college that challenges me to perform at the best of my abilities. I am a leader and a dedicated team player. I have been captain of my team for the last two years.  Every year that I have played golf my scores have considerably dropped. I have been well below my average score several times. My scores were in the low 80s even playing under the pressure of  sectionals and regionals. I work hard and never give up. Playing a sport and doing well academically is a rather tough task and it has only made me a better student thus far. I have learned to manage my time effectively and I love being part of a team. I work, play golf, am in the orchestra, and still manage to be an honor student. I know that I will be an asset to your team, school, and community if given the opportunity.
