Hi, My name is Linday Purpura and I am a senior at Lyons Township High School in Lagrange, IL. I didn't really consider playing golf in college until recently when I realized my high school days were almost over. I really enjoy golfing but have also had a goal of going to college to become an engineer. I am looking for a school that offers an Engineering program and is competitive in Women's Golf. I've known that I've wanted to be an engineer since my sophomore year and have been working hard to come closer to that goal. I also want to continue playing golf. It was also around sophomore year that I became serious about golf and I have worked hard summer after summer to lower my score. I really enjoyed competing and feel I would miss it greatly if I didn't continue in college. I am a positive, serious and dedicated student athlete.
