Caitlan Smollen '12 Recruiting Profile

Golf has been a huge part of my high school career. I've all ways been a team player, even though it's golf. I try to motivate everyone and myself to never give up, and practice as often as possible. It would mean so much to me to be able to play in college and continue growing in my passion for the sport. I am 5'3'' 115 pound lefty golfer. I was a state qualifier the past two years. I compete throughout the winter, spring, summer, and fall seasons. In the off high school season I play in MAJGT events. I was team captain my senior year. I am looking for a mid sized school, and have no preference of division. I would like to major in Public Relations or something within the communications field. Unfortunatly this past summer I had mono and lost someone closeto me in a tragic accident. This lead to golf falling on my priority list. But I had a strong summer before and played well over the high school season. I think that golf is a great way to be able to meet people and get to know them and I would love to keep up my skill level throughout college.
