June 2014Personal Statement
I am the oldest of twins and have been playing golf since I was 5 years old. My goal is to graduate from a four year college that will lead to a lifetime career. My practice and tournament rounds are played on the Kaplaua Golf Course and Kaanapali Golf Course. My attitude towards practice, tournament and leisure play have allowed me to grow in the game and become a better individual.
I am interested in Communications as a major. I plan using my major to either work as a PR in a business firm or consider being a counselor and getting to know about human interactions.
I have just finished my year in college at the University of Montana. My golf game has improved and I've learned the responsibilities of being an adult and what it takes to be a student- athlete. Being a student- athlete also has opened my eyes up to how difficult and different college can be from high school, but that hasn't stopped me from continuing to pursue a better education.
