I developed my love for golf from my Granddad and have been playing since I was little. My goal is to have the opportunity to earn a quality education while playing golf at the highest competitive level possible. I have a strong work ethic and am willing to listen, learn, improve and give 100% both in the classroom and on the course. My strengths are definitely my distance and club head speed. My short game has made tremendous improvement over the past couple of months and I am continually working to get a better feel for different situations around the greens.
I am looking for a college program that will provide a team spirit where I can contribute both on and off the course. I have been lucky enough to learn from my older sister (who is a college student-athlete) the hard work, challenging schedules and dedication to both academics and your sport it takes to be successful and feel that I will excel at the next level in my golf career given the opportunity. I am very open to the opportunities I may be given to play college golf.
Although I enjoy challenging myself academically, my favorite part about High School is being a member of the Union Club. Our club helps the Special Needs students in our school. We go to our High School sporting events together, work on fundraising, have lots of parties and dances and the friendships we have made are the best! This year I was lucky enough to be a Special Olympics Buddy and am looking forward to participating the rest of my High School years.
