Audrey Jones '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Audrey Jones, I am a senior at Glenwood Springs HS. I started golfing my freshman year of high school, as a first year player I shot pretty consistently in the 130's. I made a goal for myself to drop 10 strokes a year from my average. Each year I have achieved this goal now I consistently shoot in the 90's occasionally in the 80's. I love golf! This year will be my second year as team captain, every year I have been awarded most inspirational on my team. Also I am a scholar athlete.  This year I made it to regionals and missed state by 1 stroke with a score of a 93 on a day with terrible weather (snow, rain and hail). I was pretty pleased with my round due to the conditions. I live in Glenwood Springs, Co which is high up in the Rockies near Aspen. Our courses normally close November 1st and open April 1st on a good year. I imagine my scores would drop even more if I had the chance to play year round.

My weighted GPA is a 3.6 and my act is a 23. In the future I would like to pursue a career in speech pathology, I love contributing to the community and I feel this would be a great way to do it.
