I have played golf for close to four years now. I started not knowing anything about it other then a twelve year old's idea of how to play/swing. Over the past few years I have set reachable goals to strive for. It started with wanting to be the the best player in the country club I belonged to, then I had a bigger dream: to be in the top 5 for the local tournaments I played in, and then slowly it turned into wanting to play well in the not so local/low key tournaments (JTNC). One goal is to take my skills and work ethic and make myself successful for what ever I set my mind to. The past few years have been busy but manageable and definable fun and exciting. I have been in honors classes for the past two years and done well in them while I have been developing and fine tuning my game. My main goal is to go to a college where I can continue to grow and strive for bigger opportunities in my golfing career as well as continue with my academic success. I would like to bring my focused, hard-working/disciplined, driven, and positive attitude to a college so I can succeed not only on the golf course, but certainly in the classroom and campus life.
