In a game of perfection, my goal is always constant improvement. I started playing golf when I was 14 after winning a raffle for a driver, and since then I have gone from playing simply for fun and shooting scores in the 90s and 100s, to now shooting in the mid/high 70s and low 80s and having a strong desire to play at the collegiate level and continue improving. I was homeschooled since kindergarten and have always enjoyed school and learning, particularly science. It is very important to me that in college I can pursue both my passion for science and my passion for playing golf. Many of my peers I meet on the course have been playing longer then me and have the advantage of experience. However, I believe it is not when you start, but how hard you work when you start and continue to bring that level of commitment that makes the difference. Golf is a dynamic sport where your game is always changing and I love that there will always be the opportunity for me to be better and improve. I feel this way about golf, academics and life. Every tournament I enter I want to walk away knowing I put my best effort forward and played with integrity and character, and that mentality is what I want to bring every day to whatever team I join. I love playing golf and want to continue at the next level to improve and grow as a golfer and a person.
