Amanda Crites '13 Recruiting Profile

I'm a senior at Liberty High School in Peoria, Arizona. Scholastically, I am in the top 10% of my class and have a GPA of 3.83. I've been a multi-sport athlete throughout my school years, and have narrowed my efforts down to golf and basketball. I've been a four year Letterman in golf and a four year starter in basketball at Liberty. In golf I was the individual low scorer in several team matches, and I won first place in the district tournament of 2011 as well as 2012. Currently, I am focusing on improving my individual play through private lessons and starting to compete in JGAA tournaments here in Arizona. My family recently became members at a golf course so I am constantly at the range and am in the process of establishing a handicap. I've been described as a long ball hitter with a great swing and very "competitive" and "teachable" by my coaches and instructor.
