2017 UPDATE: I am currently attending and playing golf at a small university on the Midwest. However, due to coaching changes and questions about the future of the program, I am considering the possibility of transferring to another school in fall 2017 if I feel another school and golf program might be a better fit for me academically and athletically. The interim coach and athletic director at my current school are aware that I am considering a transfer. I asked NCSA to re-open my account so that I could research other schools/programs.
2014
My name is Abby Clark and I am looking forward to going to college to further my education and playing competitive golf. I want to challenge myself to become a better person, a better golfer, a better teammate, and strive to make the most of my opportunities. I am an excellent student and always try to do my best at whatever challenges are presented to me. One of my best attributes is that I always try to maintain a positive outlook and calm demeanor, which I feel is helpful both in golf and life in general. I began playing competitive golf by joining my high school golf team as a Freshman. It was then that I realized that I really loved the game and the challenges it presents. I started seeing a professional swing coach after my Sophomore year and have made great strides since then. In both my Junior and Senior seasons, I qualified as an individual for the Arizona Division 1 Girls State Golf Tournament.
