I had my first JGAA match in 2012 where I won second place. Although, little did I realize, the foursome had only one other competitor playing at my age level that day. Regardless of coming in, second to none, that trophy gave me the confidence and “can do” attitude I needed to continue pursuing golf. Over time, I have come to appreciate the sport and develop a strong passion for the competition. I find myself striving to compete at the collegiate level. I am a strong believer that hard work pays off, and with dedication, focus, and practice, I can see positive results that encourage me to continue. These efforts confirm my abilities that I will be a great asset to your team. As a student athlete, I have found there is a balance of school and playing time that needs to be upheld. School and golf both require hard work, commitment, and self-discipline in order to be a positive contributor to the team. I make every effort to maintain a balance, so I can be my best in the class room and on the course.
