Personal Statement

I am interested in the sciences and healthcare. I plan to study pre-medicine or pre-dental in college. Both of my parents have degrees in healthcare so I have been exposed to these fields for a very long time.  During my 12 years as a competitive gymnast, I was a State Champion on floor, vault, and All-Around. In level 8, I qualified for the All-State team and placed 15th All-Around at Regionals. My high school did not have a gymnastics team and I wanted to compete at a varsity sport so I transitioned from gymnastics to diving the summer after 8th grade. It was a smooth transition and a great decision with no regrets. I am more focused and stronger than I have ever been in my entire life. I am passionate about diving, extremely hard-working, focused, dedicated, and plan to continuously improve throughout the next few years. I am proud to announce I have attained All-American Diving honors from NISCA for the past two years as well as All-Area and All-Catholic honors during my high school career. My goals for new dives include 305c on 3m and 105b on 1m.  I not only practice diving 4-5 times per week, but I also work as a gymnastics instructor. I believe my work ethic and desire to improve in regards to diving and academics makes me a strong candidate for collegiate diving.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
