Personal Statement

My name is Hannah Ciesielczyk and I play for the Oak Creek Knights – Wisconsin’s “Division 1” state basketball champions for the 2013-14 school year.  While playing with 2 all-state post players that received Division 1 college scholarships, I was able to continue to hone my basketball skills on both ends of the court as a sophomore on the varsity level.  I will be entering my fourth summer of AAU basketball and I’m currently a member of the Wisconsin RAP High School Elite Team.  Our tournament travels this summer include games in Cincinnati, Nashville and Chicago to name a few.
I embrace both the academic and athletic challenges of high school and I look forward to even greater challenges at the collegiate level.  I’m currently ranked #8 in my class academically and a member of the National Honor Society.  This coming year, I will be taking honors,  AP and college prep courses as a junior.  I have extremely good study habits and time management skills that help me on and off the court.
Besides basketball, I play on the Oak Creek varsity soccer team, where I started every game as a freshmen.  Playing defense on the soccer team has made me a better basketball player as both require a passion for the game, intensity, hustle, coordination and great footwork.
If you are looking for that coachable girl who loves and respects the game of basketball and who wants to succeed on the court and in the classroom at the collegiate level, I’m that girl and I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your coaching staff.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
