I am currently a junior at Evansville High School. Basketball has impacted me greatly throughout my whole life; it has given me a lot of opportunities and allowed me to grow as both an athlete and as a person. I would like to continue to play basketball at the college level and have been working to achieve this goal in many ways such as lifting, practicing basketball, and working hard in the classroom. I feel I am a valuable asset to a basketball team because I have the ability to use my height and strength to get rebounds, post up, and drive to the basket. I also have the ability to stretch the court with my outside shot and create fast-break opportunities with my ability to get up the court. I have focused a lot on improving my footwork and quickness which has shown its value this season in my increased ability to defend and attack the rim.
