I, Legaci Young have played basketball for 11 years now, starting at 7. I've always dreamed of being the first on both sides of my family to play collegiate basketball building my confidence and motivation to someday get there. I've lived in the Manor area since I was 11 playing in small leagues as well. I am a good candidate for your team because I am a different breed, I have fight, confidence, heart, rare talent, and leadership like no other. One thing I've always reminded my teammates is motivation! I believe that self motivation is the best motivation, yes others need the extra push from possibly team mates, coaches, etc.. But with self motivation your unstoppable! Every time I step on the floor I remind myself to have fun, lead your team Legaci, be discipline as one of the oldest on the team, but HAVE FUN! Throughout my years in middle school and high school parents have always told me I stood out.. Me not knowing if it was a good or bad thing? I noticed myself I STOOD OUT! Not because I was the smallest or 1 of the quickest on the team but my passion for the game is outstanding and to know I impact a lot of people in the gym brought me to the intent that I have to go on and bring this comfort and impact to a collegiate level. I know I have the potential to play basketball, I remind myself EVERYDAY that I'm going to play in college. Everyday I touch a basketball, I remind myself I'm capable, I'll push through anything thrown at me. I WILL GET THERE.
