2016 Highlights Personal Statement
Since I first saw my big sister step onto a court I have loved the game of basketball. I have been playing basketball since I was in the first grade. Once I realized that you could play basketball at the collegiate level that has been my ultimate goal.
I have an extremely high basketball I.Q. and I love to contribute to the team in any way I can. I have frequently led my team in assists and enjoy it when all members of my team (myself included!) find success.
I hold doing well academically as an important goal as well. I know that doing well in school will aid me in my ultimate goal of becoming a pediatrician. In pursuing that goal I have maintained a 3.9 GPA and have participated in the National Honor Society at my school.
My ultimate goal for college is to find the right match for me both athletically and academically at whatever level that happens to be.
