2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been working very hard in order to achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a college basketball player and student. I'm striving to play at the next level and to become the best teammate and basketball player that I can possibly be. I'm really looking forward to playing with people who have the same goals and aspirations that I have.
I greatly value my education and I work hard both on the court and in the classroom. I have maintained a 3.97 GPA throughout high school and I would like to maintain this throughout college because I would like to get into CRNA school someday.
My parents have taught me that you have to work hard towards your dreams and eventually your hard work will pay off. My parents have given me both encouragement and support in my endeavors.
I am extremely dedicated, and I work on basketball year round so that I can better myself as a player. I manage to fit doing basketball drills on the driveway into my busy schedule of school, work, volunteering, volleyball & the clubs that I'm involved in such as National Honor Society and HOSA.
Over the summer, my AAU basketball team Showtime Hoopers has greatly helped me improve both my defensive and offensive skills. I'm looking forward to the college experience both athletically and intellectually.
