I have been playing team sports since I was 5 years old. I started out with soccer and softball, as I progressed to Elementary and Middle school, I added basketball, volleyball, and track into the mix. I have also been exposed to CrossFit, as I participate in it over the summers to improve my strength and conditioning. I bring a consistent work ethic and positive attitude on and off the basketball court. As a captain and team player to each of my sports, I always make it an effort to create a positive, encouraging, and competitive environment for my teammates, coaches, and peers. I like to work with a variety of skillsets and athletes, to challenge my game and develop new skills (especially during the off season).
In the classroom, I set my expectations just as high as I do athletically. I maintain my GPA to at least a 3.8 or above. When it comes to missing school for athletic events, I make it a priority to gather work ahead of time and continue to meet my academic deadlines. Keeping close and positive relationships within my family, friends, peers, and teammates are very important as well. I strive to compete and always put 110% effort into whatever I do whether that's during or outside of a sports season.
