It is my dream to play basketball at the next level. I played basketball with my Dad growing up and then played competitively at school. I loved the competition and the feeling I got from doing something as a team. The thrill of winning really got me motivated for more. Playing sports is a tool or activity that can help me to achieve my life goals. I am very competitive and strive to obtain the best out of myself and my teammates. I want to make everyone around me better. To achieve that I must give my best and recognize others when they do they same. I have always been successful in the classroom and on the athletic field.
I want to be a part of something special and playing sports at the college level is a goal I have set for myself. I also realize that sports and playing in college is just a stepping stone in meeting my life goals. A college degree is my main goal. The degree will help me fulfill my aspiration of starting a career that makes me the best I can be. I expect to be a leader on my team, the classroom, and in my profession.
I will bring hard work and determination to the program I join, and I am looking for a university and athletic program that will push me to my potential, not just on the athletic field but in the classroom and in my life. I am willing to fill whatever role that will make that happen. I will play college basketball!
