Danielle Bounds '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Danielle Sharice Bounds and I am a combo guard that can play point or shooting guard positions. I am 5 foot 8 inches tall and weigh 135 pounds. In high school I was an Oklahoma Coaches Association high school All State team selection, Second Team All-Metro Oklahoma City, Putnam City West high school 2 time most valuable player, (junior and senior year). My AAU team, Show Time Hoops was the Oklahoma State champions 2009. I averaged 14 points per game and shot 38 percent from three point range during senior year in high school. I'm currently attending Robert Morris University, and I'm looking to transfer. I primarily played the 2 position and even though I didn't get a lot of playing time, I always gave my best when I did. One of my strengths is I am a very coachable player. On the other hand, one of my weaknesses is, I'm not a very vocal player, a skill that is needed for a good point guard. I am continually working on this aspect of my game. I am open to most geographical locations as I have family all around the country. Also, the size of the school is not as important to me as the quality of education. I played at the Div 1 level as a freshman and felt good about my performance there, however, I'm open to all options. This not only refers to the competition level, but also the type of school (Christian or HBC). My desired major is film, movie and television production or broadcasting. My goal is to compete at the highest level possible, and to contribute to my team. I want to have a positive influence on my teammates and represent the university in a positive manner. I want to be the type of player that my coach can count on to fulfill the role which is needed in a particular game situation: scoring, defending or rebounding.
