Personal Statement

I am a very ambitious student athlete and I always strive to be the best I can be personally, academically and athletically. I love the game of basketball and enjoy playing ball in a competitive setting. I constantly seek ways to bring my level of play up and I am not afraid of hard work in order to be the best player and team mate I can be. I love the team dynamic and I truly feel as a member of a team I am accountable not only to myself but to the team as well. I don't like to let my team mates down so I am always looking for ways to motivate myself and my team mates so that we can all be successful.

I am committed and dedicated to excellence in everything I do and always strive to go beyond my best efforts to accomplish my goals. At a very young age my parents would tell me that when you want to be the best you have to be willing to do the things that others are not willing to do. I apply this to the way I manage my class assignments and my basketball practice sessions. I am driven and as a result I have a really good work ethic. I would love the opportunity to play ball at the college level and possibly beyond that. I am coachable and I enjoy learning new things. I will attend college and pursue a degree in business management focusing on entrepreneurship, and investment banking. I also look forward and excited to see to what lies ahead for me.
