Abby's 2017-2018 ...Personal Statement
I am a Senior at Saint John the Baptist High School in West Islip, NY. I am a 5'10", 145 lbs, Guard/Small Forward. This will be my 4th and last year playing Varsity basketball. I also played on an AAU travel team, Long Island Lightning, from Suffolk County, Long Island. I LOVE playing basketball. Its my only sport and has been since I was 6 years old. I have excellent ball handling skills, can shoot, rebound and play strong defense. I'm fast on transition and quick getting up and down the court. My coaches tell me I energize the court when I play. I have great endurance and agility. My versatility allows me to play most positions but I love playing as a guard.
I am VERY excited to announce that I have COMMITTED and will be coming to the University of Rochester in the Fall semester as a Freshman. I am looking forward to the next 4 years playing as a Yellowjacket!!!!
