I come from a family of Division 1 student athletes who played at DePaul University and the University of Connecticut and I know what is expected. They have modeled the lifestyle necessary to attain such an aspiration and now are my mentors.
As a student athlete, I know what it means to work hard. At the collegiate level, I am willing to put in the extra time and dedication, and to challenge myself to be number one in both the classroom and on the court.
