Over the years of playing basketball I've heard, "Don't take your talent for granted." I'm the type of person to work hard consistently to be better than I was yesterday. Basketball is my first love and it always has been since my younger years. What makes me different from others is that most people talk about what they can do, but I prefer to talk through my actions and how I execute on the court. After every game I'm think about my mistakes, what I need to work on, and how to be a better Point Guard for not only myself but for my team. Before anything I'm a team player. I make sure I connect with them, learn how they play, and where they feel comfortable on the court In order for it to be an easier job for me when giving good looks during the game, or setting them up for a shot. I always show a positive attitude along with passion for the game. Every time I step foot on the court it means business, no matter what happened during the day, yesterday or the day before I put that aside to get to work. Other than basketball I put forth my best efforts in academics. Academics are important to me because it gives you a backup plan when sports doesn't work out. Due to the great effort I've shown in my school work, it was recognized as I was inducted in the National Honor Society. I'm also apart of Upward Bound which is a College Preparatory Program, it helps me out all year round with keeping me on track and preparing me for the College Life.
