Julia Presant '14 Recruiting Profile

My goal has always been to play college basketball, get a good education and enjoy the overall college experience. A unique thing about me as a player is that I am used at all 5 positions on the court offensively. Whether it is being the point guard or the center, I show a lot of heart and am up to any challenge given to me. On defense, my coaches won't hesitate to put me against the biggest girl. At 5'8 and 160 pounds, I possess a lot of upper body strength which helps me down low when guarding the other teams big. 

You won’t see many stats on my profile. I missed most of my sophomore and junior basketball seasons because of injuries.  This time away from the court made me love the game even more. I dedicated myself to getting in the best shape I could and this paid off in a very successful AAU season this summer.  I have continued to work hard in my fall league and now, as a captain of my varsity team, I am ready to be a leader both on and off the court.
