For as long as I can remember I have loved competition, not only on the court or playing fields, but in the classroom as well. The commitment, sacrifice, and discipline that it takes to be the best you can be is something I enjoy, not fear. As a result of this I have been able to become an excellent student (4.49 GPA , Rank 4/388) as well as an accomplished high school athlete (2018 NH All State Field Hockey, 2018 NH All State Honorable Mention basketball, 2018 NFHCA All American Academic Team, Scholar of Distinction .)
I have found this love of competition can be infectious, especially on the court. Whether taking a charge, diving for loose balls, getting back to protect the rim, or any other hustle play- leadership by example, along with voice, is something I have grown to love. Because of this I was nominated (by my teammates and coaches) to be captain of my varsity team as a sophomore. Being given the opportunity to lead an entire team pulling in one direction, striving for the same goal is a fantastic feeling. Being a part of that process is awesome!
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and well as academically (I have an interest in STEM). I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, leadership skills, and heart to make an immediate impact on your program
