When you meet with me you will immediately be able to see the three things that make me stand out from the crowd. The first is my dedicated work ethic. I will out work my opponents and that makes me stronger and more capable than the man next to me. Second, I am a great team mate and a leader. I work to make sure that my decisions and my behavior on and off the court are in the best interest of the team, because of this my teammates tend to look to me for leadership and guidance. My leadership skills are evident through the many leadership roles I have held through my high school career. Finally, I am an excellent basketball player. I have very quick lateral movements which make me capable of moving around my opponents. I am also known for my assists. I am a facilitator of the ball and of the game. With that said I am never going to pass the chance to score an open shot. Coaches and others have also recognized me and utilized my input because I have great vision of the court and a comprehensive knowledge of the game.
I am a great candidate for your team because I am not only a respected teammate with outstanding work ethic, and exceptional skill but I am also passionate about the game. My passion gives me the drive to want to continuously improve. These aspects are what differentiate me from the average player both on the floor, off the floor, and in the classroom.
