Personal Statement

Born with a competitive nature, I am always eager to take on a new challenge. Pushing yourself to the limits and back is not an easy task; however, there’s no better feeling than accomplishing a great feat and knowing first-hand that your hard work will pay off. I live for those moments, and I strongly believe you need the character, work-ethic, and pure will to get there. Playing basketball since first grade, and being a three-sport athlete since seventh grade, has turned these three qualities into habits that have shaped me into the player and student I am today.

I am looking for a program that will push me to succeed not only athletically, but academically as well. While being an athlete is a huge part of who I have become, the importance of a quality education is not lost to me. The education that I receive throughout my college years will have, perhaps, the greatest impact on the rest of my life. Balancing three sports, five clubs, rigorous classes, and volunteer work has tremendously prepared me for life at the next level. I believe that I have not only the athletic and academic talent, but also the determination, loyalty, and leadership skills to make an immediate and lasting impact on your team!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
