Claire Burch '17 Recruiting Profile

Every practice I show up focused and ready to work my hardest with a good attitude and respect for my coaches and team. I value being a true student athlete by performing well in the classroom and taking rigorous classes to prepare me for college.  I am very competitive as an athlete and student so if someone is performing better than me, I make it a goal to beat them. I have had several double doubles this year and close to triple doubles. As a player, I do not mind being aggressive by going after loose balls, going up and getting the rebound, taking charges, or setting picks. I played all positions my junior year besides being a point guard and was a team captain last year. I am known to lead by example for my teammates by my actions on and off the court. I come from an athletic family. My brother currently plays football at William Jewell University.  I'm also an All State athlete in track for High Jump and would love to go to college for basketball and track.
