Dru Haertling '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach, My name is Dru Haertling. I am a 5'8 junior point guard at Jackson High School in Jackson Missouri. I have had the opportunity to play varisty basketball since my freshman year. Concluding my sophmore year I was awarded all district. I live in the gym. I cannot seem to stay away.I wake up at 5:30 a.m. to workout, and love to be fit! I believe no matter what level the competition, room for improvement is always possible. I would love to play college basketball. I have no preference what climate or state, basketball is a joy no matter the location. My academic aspirations in college would be to major in biology. I am looking to play for a disciplinary coach, one that is also morally sound and who will push me to better myself on and off the floor. Since I am a competitive person regardless of what I'm doing, I look for the same characteristic in a coach. My goal is to be the best possible athlete I can be. A good work ethic is present in everything I do. I am not worried about the level or school, I know that God has a plan for my life and that he is faithful in his promises. Thank you for your time.
