Ashley Manns '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashley Manns, I am a Senior at Grain Valley High School, in Missouri. I am 5'6.5" and weigh about 120 lbs. I have good character. I attend Faith United Methodist Church of Grain Valley, I work in every sunday in the nursery there along with volunteering with the younger kids at our Logos Program. I have about 130 community service hours and 71.5 tutoring hours. I also have a 3.8086 career GPA. I am ranked 27th out of 240 students. I have played basketball since I was 7, and played AAU ever since I was 10. In the Battle of the Border Tournament, I was the only player that made the All-Star Team in my pool. What I offer most is a team first mentality; I do what needs to be done on and off the floor; I will work hard and do what is asked. My dream is to play the game I love in college and become a coach. I would want to school in the Midwest Region, and I am looking for a school with good academic standards and a good Education Program. I am open to different schools. I will be in need for financial aid. I want to major in Elementary Education (and Early Childhood Education), and to minor in Spanish. My athletic goal is to play college basketball or tennis as a freshman in college.
