Kayleigh Shanahan '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was in 3rd grade. From the moment I stepped onto the floor, I knew I wanted to play in college. I fully understand that playing in college is a once in a lifetime experience. 

I feel like I am a good team leader and try to encourage others and myself to push harder. I have a good shot from the perimeter and I can work the ball down low. I am easily coachable and intend to be one of the hardest working players. 

I am very serious when it comes to my schoolwork, I study hard and maintain a good GPA. I am involved with a lot of clubs at my school. 

I would really like to attend a college where I can play basketball but also get a great education. I intend to be open with all of the options I am given. I want to attend a college that has a great atmosphere and good reputation.
