Hi, my name is Emily Langolf and I'm a junior at Dakota High School. I am not only hardworking on the court, but in the classroom as well. School has always been very important to me and I currently have a 3.8 GPA. I made varsity my freshman year and became the starting point guard. That year I was honored with All Conference MAC White. I have very good court intelligence which lets me see the whole court at all times. I am a gym rat who's always looking to improve in any way possible. I am constantly training and shooting close to 500 shots a day. As a sophomore, I started every game of the season and was named a captain of the team. I believe my game is very versatile and not just one-dimensional. I am an offensive threat with my 3 point shot as well as my ability to take it to the basket. This year, I was awarded All Conference MAC Red, Tier 1 2nd team All County, BCAM Best Class A All State honorable mention, Detroit Free Press All east Team 3, Macomb County All Star team 3, All State Academic and led my team in points, steals, and assists. I currently play AAU for the Michigan Mystics under Rob Ruhstofer. My goal is to play college basketball and help the program win in whatever way I can. I work hard every day to achieve this goal by improving my basketball IQ as well as my overall skill. I plan to keep working so that one day my dream can become my reality.
