Kelana Campbell '20 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been such a big part of my life. It has taught me how to be a team player, disciplined, and how to manage tough situations. I’ve been playing since I was seven years old and have learned to manage my academics and basketball schedule throughout the years. I play basketball year round and have been on the varsity team since I was a freshman. I also play AAU in the fall and the spring. My strong rebounds and fast breaks have led to many team wins. After high school, I hope to be able to play for a four College/University while earning my degree.  I’ve been put in various situations where I had to be the leader of my team and step up when morale was low in order to make a great come back in the game. I may not be the biggest on the court but I am fast, and can make an impact on the offense and defense. Over the years that has built my confidence which has helped me to be a huge asset to any team while remaining humble and doing my job.
