Hi, my name is Andrea. I am sophomore at Dowling College (D2) looking to transfer as Dowling College has closed. I am a Biology major with a 3.14 gpa. I have 3 years of eligibility remaining (I was injured last season, but have been fully cleared to return to action) and am looking for a program where I will be pushed everyday to be the best basketball player, student, and person I can be.
At Dowling I played the 2, 3 or 4 positions, although I was slated to be the starting 2 guard and captain for this upcoming season. I believe the 2 is where I'm strongest but I am willing to play wherever I'm needed to help my new team succeed.
I am an extremely hard worker, very passionate about basketball and I have a very good basketball IQ. I believe the program I play for will have a player that can come in and immediately have a positive impact.
Basketball is my passion. I know which ever college I attend, that college will get a very good student, a tireless worker, a passionate basketball player, and a great teammate.
Sincerely,
Andrea Bender
