Basketball gives people true equality. It doesn't matter your race, gender, financial situation, or your social status, in the game of basketball hard work translates. You become better by putting in the time and effort, there are no superficial limitations. For this reason basketball has become more than a game to me , it has taught me how to focus and how to do well in school. It has taught me how to work with people, solve problems, and has taught me how to be a leader. Basketball is a privilege ,not a right and I value every minute I'm able to play. I think I would contribute a lot to a college team because I know how to put in the work and how to stay positive. What I hope to gain from college is the knowledge and ability to help people and animals. I'm very interested in Veterinary Sciences and Wildlife Research. I've been given the gift of education and with it I want to better our world for future generations. If I could do that, even in the smallest form I would find it extremely fulfilling. Thank you for your interest in my profile.
