Hello, my name is Starlette Franklin, and I am in the 11th grade at Towson High School where I have played varsity basketball for the last three years. As a student-athlete, I understand that it is essential to excel in both athletics and academics. I succeed in two varsity sports while maintaining a 5.64 QPA and earning a 1440 on the SAT. Academics comes first when looking at colleges. I want to be able to graduate from college that opens up many doors for my future career.
I have been playing basketball since the first grade and have developed a passion for the game. Although I haven’t been able to have a high school season my junior year, I have still found ways to get the team together by organizing workouts and practices. I have a strong work ethic which helps me achieve my goals. I am very coachable, always bringing a great attitude to practice, and I am always looking for ways to improve my game. Basketball has introduced me to many great players and coaches, and I am looking forward to being a part of a college program.
