Savannah Morrison '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Savannah Morrison, a 5'5'' PG/SG. I live in Shepherdsville, KY and attend North Bullitt High School, where I am a senior. In the classroom I strive for perfection. I am Senior Class president and a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Pep Club.  I have participated the past 3 years in a local community volunteer program with Overdale Elementary where I mentor special needs children.  I enjoy lending my time and talent to various American Cancer Society fundraisers on an annual basis; I have participated in the Breast Cancer walk, Colon Cancer Awareness 5k walk, and Race for the Cure.  I was inducted into the 1000 point club at North Bullitt High School as a sophomore and as a junior became North Bullitt's all time leading scorer.  I averaged 16 points a game last varsity season and was acknowledged as a KY Junior Allstar with tryouts held at Georgetown College, title of #1 Junior of the Year for Bullitt County, All District Player 2013, and All Region Player 2013.  I shot 200 free-throws last season making 160 of those for an 80% average .  My motto is to work as hard as I can at all times, and that is what I try to do in every aspect of my life. I am a good choice for your school because I never give up, and I love pushing myself and taking that leadership role. I am not putting any restrictions on colleges, I just want a school that encourages me to meet my full potential on the court, and in the classroom. I want to major in Nursing and minor in English, I plan on making a difference in this world. My goals are to just continue playing the sport I love, and do anything that is asked of me, to my best ability.
