Katherine Raines '13 Recruiting Profile

 Hi, my name is Katherine Raines and I am a 6' junior at Danville Christian Academy. I have played varsity basketball for three years, but have only "shined" for two. I am the first person in DCA history to put up a triple double and am the first student to be named to the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association All-State First Team. I have maintained above a 3.0 grade point average throughout high school and am an active member in the National Beta Soceity.
 

When it comes to basketball, I have started and been successful at all five positions. I can post up but I can also shoot the three and dribble when necessary.I have worked on rebounding as well as blocking shots and wil be most willing to play any position that is open. I love to have fun but most of all my goal is to glorify God in everything I do. He has blessed me with my athletic talents and it has been my job to refine them. I am a hard worker and will do whatever is best for the team.

I realize that I have started the recruiting process late in my career, but I am excited about moving on to the next level and playing basketball in college, as this is my passion.  As far as schools, as long as you offer my major and possily one or two that are similar, that will do. I would prefer to stay near my home but I will go wherever I fell is the right fit as far as atmosphere, education, size and location.
