LisaJo Wygal '16 Recruiting Profile

     My goal is to play college basketball and become a pediatrician.  I am a hard worker on the court and in the classroom. I have been taking classes in high school that pertains to the medical field and I enjoy learning about the body and how the body functions.  Becoming a pediatrician has been my goal for about 4 years now and I am going to work hard to ensure that I achieve both of these goals. 

     When it comes to basketball it is my passion.  I love everything about being on the court and giving it my all to help my team win as well as help myself grow as a player. I am 5'9" and weigh 138 lbs.  I was a 4 year starter and finished my career a little short of my goals of getting 1000 points (966), 500 rebounds (464) , but got my goal of 500 assists with 524 in my career. I'm very versatile and can play the 1 through 4 positions if needed. 

     I am not like a lot of people.  I am a funny, smart, so easy to get along with kind of girl. I do not meet a stranger and I am welcoming to everyone.  I have been through a lot in my life and I feel that I have overcome a lot of obstacles to get to where I am today.  And the great thing is that I am not done.  I still have so much I want to accomplish.
