Addison Bayman '20 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with the game of basketball watching my older brother play and after stepping onto the court for the first time at the age of four.  Sports, especially basketball, have always been a big part of our family life.  There have also been a wide range of coaches that have taught me to love the game, pushed me to be my best and helped me pursue my goal of playing at the next level.  Loving and wanting to pursue my dream of playing basketball is easy when good coaches have been there to consistently remind me why I play the game.

I am a very determined athlete and student.  My grades and GPA reflect how hard I work in the classroom to remain at the top of my class.  Being in the top ten academically is important to me.  My academic drive is an enormous factor that has played directly into how hard I work in the gym, as well.  My communication and leadership skills make me different from most.  I understand as a captain and leader that every team is different and I have to push the whole team in a positive way that works to reach our goal.  My intelligence combined with my athletic ability make me tough to beat physically or mentally on the court or in the classroom.
