Taylor Holliday '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor Holliday and I am a dedicated student athlete. I strive for excellence on the basketball court and in the classroom. I am a four-year starting varsity member on my high school team. I am also a starting forward on my the AAU team I have been playing on for the past seven years of my life.

One of the best strengths that I have on the court is my rebounding and defense. I am great at communicating and my help side defense is something that my teammates know they can always rely on. I crash the boards hard every play and won't give up on the ball easily. I can be relied on as a leader on and off the court. If my coach wants something done, I am the person that he calls over to get the job done.

I have a GPA of a 4.0. I commit myself to my studies as much as I commit myself to my game. Because of this dedication, I have a very high basketball I.Q. I can study film and break down every play if that is what needs to be done. I can make decisions in stressful situations and can keep a level head.

I am someone who can be counted upon to get the job done. I am a TEAM player and will do whatever is necessary for the TEAM. I am driven and want to achieve my life long dream of playing basketball in college. I want to expand my horizons and experience the world of college basketball. No matter the challenge, I will overcome. I am driven and will face any obstacles thrown at me head on. I am not just a woman who plays basketball and goes to school. I am a STUDENT ATHLETE ready to compete physically and academically at the right college.
